Due to gentleness, this shampoo has less suds and should only be used with a silicone-free conditioner like the Full Follicle conditioner. It is not formulated to remove buildup from silicones.
Absolutely. This extra-gentle shampoo is safe to use for those with color-treated or permed hair. There are no harsh sulfates or detergents, and the formula is tailored to offer an extra-gentle cleanse that will not strip hair of color nor damage fine hairs.
This depends on the oiliness of you scalp and hair and your personal preferences. Some may prefer to use everyday while others may prefer once a week.
It means using a combination of gentler alternatives to sulfates for thorough but damage-free cleansing. Sulfates are powerful detergents found in most shampoos. They effectively remove oily sebum and buildup such as from silicones. Unfortunately, sulfates also damage hair over time and strip the cuticle of its water-proof coating. This will lift and roughen the “shingles” of the cuticle and lead to dullness and frizz.
This also makes the typically water-proof hair strands both take on and lose water which stretch and shrink further damaging hair. This may be a problem particularly for damaged or less resistant hair types like thinning hair or baby hairs.

A plant butter based silicone-free and sulfate-free conditioning and cleansing system is more well suited to thinning hair and will nourish and protect new fine, baby hairs while giving a more weightless condition enhancing the appearance of volume in fine hair.
